Colorado Springs, CO -- Let's Go Aero a leading manufacturer of cargo carriers, trailers and bicycle carriers and cycling advocate is giving back to the community with a donation of BikeWing-4 Bicycle Racks to Kids On Bikes.
Kids On Bikes is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming communities by making cycling possible for every child regardless of income. Following their mission, "to inspire and empower all kids to lead healthy, active, and happy lives through bicycling," Kids on Bikes organizes events and camps that teach kids ages 2-14 everything from basic cycling skills, bicycle maintenance, safety and advance trail riding. Since the opening of their store, The Peddle Station in 2016, Kids on Bikes has gifted over 750 bikes to children through their earn-a-bike program and has logged over 6,100 hours of volunteer time repairing community bicycles. The BikeWing-4 racks donated will be on sale at The Peddle Station with all proceeds going to the funding of more bicycles, repair kits and events for the Colorado community. The racks will also be used for bicycle transportation to and from events and camps.
"As an outdoor lifestyle company that takes pride in our Colorado roots, we were very excited to offer our support to Kids on Bikes and The Peddle Station," said Marty Williams, Founder and CEO of Let's Go Aero. "Our bike racks are designed with families and kids in mind so getting to offer our support to a local community organization that sees family cycling as important as we do is really special."
